Sergio A. Adame is a 2004 Graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Legal Studies.
Sergio has been licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission since 2005. Since being licensed, he has worked for some of the top Real Estate Residential Franchise Firms in the Country, to include Keller Williams, Coldwell Banker, and Re/Max. In 2009 he become a Member of the Graduate Realtor Institute and in 2011, he became a member of the industry coveted CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation and also became licensed as a Texas Real Estate Broker. He is currently a member of National Association of Realtors (NAR), Texas Association of Realtors (TAR), International Counsel of Shopping Centers (ICSC), CCIM Institute, and Greater McAllen Association of Realtors (GMAR) and Asian-American Hotel Owner's Association (AAHOA).
Throughout his career, Sergio has been involved in multiple transactions delving in just about every part of the State and type of real estate. From the sale of hundreds of pasteurized acres in north Hidalgo County, to water front lots in South Padre Island, to homes in the Woodlands in Houston, San Antonio, Alamo Heights, and ranchettes and homes in Cameron/Hidalgo County, as well as Land Development in the City of Mission, Donna, McAllen and Pharr, Construction of Shopping Centers, Four-Plexes and the acquisition of 1 of 5 Multi-Story Office Buildings in the Entire Rio Grande Valley, The Bank of America Tower in Downtown Harlingen.
He has also led many different types of lease negotiations with National Tenants like AT&T (Cell Towers), Manpower International (Lease Renewals), Bank of America (Sale Lease-Back) as well as many other local Restaurant and Retail Center leases.
Leticia brings great insight when it comes to the RGV business market. With 15 years experience of working in cities such as Edinburg, one of the fastest developing cities in South Texas, she has hands on experience on Business Development, Business Retention and Expansion, and walking companies hand in hand from start to finish. Her commitment to relationships in both the private and government sector make her uniquely qualified to orchestrate strategic opportunities for any entity doing business in the Rio Grand Valley.
Prior to joining API Real Estate, Leticia served as the Director of Business Development & Public Affairs for the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation (EDC), managing the EDC’s day-to-day marketing and business development operations and the City/EDC's Public Affairs. Before working for the City of Edinburg, she also worked for the City of San Juan, and Merrill Lynch.
Leticia serves on numerous boards including the Edinburg Arts Foundation, the South Texas International Film Festival Board, the Red Nose Foundation, among others. Leticia is an MBA graduate of the University of Texas- Rio Grande Valley.
Nestor J. Montemayor III Began his Real Estate career in 2008 with Re/Max Elite In the Rio Grande Valley where he gained invaluable knowledge about the South Texas market and Regional growth trends. In his time at Re/Max Nestor formed part of a team that was recognized with awards from Re/Max International for performance and sales volume.
After Re/Max, Nestor formed part of a new Real estate firm named Nemont Realty along with his father through which they focused on pioneering avenues for maximizing the potential of International Investments, expanding their markets to encompass all of Texas, in both Commercial and Residential Real Estate.
In 2014 Nestor, backed with years of experience with international clients formed part of the initial roll-out of Keller Williams in Cancun, Mexico where he developed additional expertise in Coastal and Resort Investments. As of 2018 Nestor joined API Real Estate and Sergio A. Adame, returning to the RGV area, to provide great service and knowledge to clients looking to invest or expand their business through a wide base of experience and years of serving the market with transactions of all sizes.
Octavio Guajardo is a native of South Texas (Laredo), a licensed real estate broker since 2001 and a Broker since 2009. As a former professional baseball player and collegiate athlete he understands and realizes the importance of working as a team, always putting 110 %, and seeing the play ahead, which leads to victory for tenants/buyers he may represent. He has a strong background in commercial real estate investment properties having been involved in numerous acquisition and disposition transactions that have included such tenants / buyers as Gold’s Gym, Orange Theory, Falcon Bank, Lone Star National Bank, Cantu Construction, Duratec, Posh Sushi, and other National and Regional Retailers.
Michael Sotelo is an associate at API Real Estate responsible for leasing and selling properties for his clients. With a degree in Agriculture Development, and a strong passion for the outdoors, Michaels’ real estate forte is in farm, ranch, and coastal property sales.
Prior to joining API Real Estate, Michael spent the last 10 years running two companies that helped him build a strong network in the Medical Business community as well as sharpen his knowledge in property management.
Born and raised in McAllen, Michael is up to date in all the new developmental growth that has occurred in the valley and plans to utilize API Real Estates’ strong traditions of property development, to hone his real estate knowledge to better serve his clients.
Ruben Solis brings over fourteen years of experience in the real estate field to the RGV. Having worked for a real estate law firm since 2004 and being a licensed real estate agent since 2009, Ruben brings plant of experience when working with buyers or sellers that require a creative approach to real estate acquisitions and dispositions. Ruben also counts on experience in dealing with distressed properties where he has been able to acquire properties for his clients that have been rehabilitated and then sold for a profit. He has built a solid foundation with real estate investors and lenders over the years that has let him seek and and find creative financing options for all sorts of situations. Ruben applies his expertise in the residential, commercial, and multi-family properties.
